Crawler disclosure

Our crawler identifies as CompareCatteryPricesBot/1.0 with this URL in the User-Agent header. We respect robots.txt, fetch slowly (no faster than one request per host every few seconds), do not bypass rate limits or captchas, and do not crawl pages that require login.

What we collect

• Publicly visible cattery boarding prices on operator websites.
• Information already published by UK local authorities under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018.

Opting out

If you operate a cattery and would like our crawler to skip your site, block our user-agent in robots.txt or email crawler@comparecatteryprices.co.uk.
